What is Kinship Navigator
The Kinship Navigator Program engages relative caregivers of children residing in Washington, D.C. with the intention of improving community and caregiver capacity to keep children safe and well in the homes of their relatives.

Caregiver subsidies are programs that assist low-income DC residents by providing a monthly subsidy. There are two programs:
1. The Grandparent Caregiver Program (GCP) provides assistance for those that are raising their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces, or great-nephews.
2. The Close Relative Caregiver Program (CRCP) provides assistance for those raising their siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Emergency Financial Assistance program can provide support for food, clothing, housing, utilities, furniture, pest control, household items, or transportation.
